Have you been living with persistent low back pain that radiates or shoots down into your leg(s), below the knee, for more than six months – and pain medication does not give you lasting relief? You may be eligible for a clinical trial exploring an investigational medication for chronic Painful Lumbosacral Radiculopathy (PLSR), described by doctors also as sciatica.

Who Can Join?

You may be eligible if you:

are a U.S. resident, age18 or older
have experienced pain starting in your lower back and radiating into one or both legs, below the knee, for more than six months
have leg pain at least as intense as your back pain and, present even at rest, not only when walking
have not found lasting relief with standard pain medications
are not currently pregnant or breastfeeding
do not have severe physical or mental health conditions

What is This Clinical Trial About?

PLSR is a form of chronic pain that starts in your lower back and radiates down into one or both legs, often below the knee. For this trial, the leg pain must be at least as intense as the back pain and must be present even at rest, not only when walking.

It is a common condition that affects millions worldwide and, for many, finding an effective treatment can be a long and challenging journey. This clinical trial is looking at the effects of a plant-based investigational medication in participants with PLSR.
