Volunteer Account Terms
Volunteer Account Terms
Last updated: September 21, 2026
What the account is for. A volunteer account lets you apply to clinical trials on this website without entering your details again each time. It is free, and you decide whether to create one. You do not need an account to apply for a trial.
Who runs it. powerMedia Health LLC, 8 The Green, STE R, Dover, DE 19901, USA. See our Privacy Notice for what we do with your details.
Who can create one. Adults aged 18 and over who live in the United States. One account per person.
Agreeing to these terms. You agree to these terms when you tick the box next to them and create your account. If you do not agree, do not create an account.
What we store. Your sex, first and last name, ZIP code, e-mail address and your login details. If you choose, also your phone number, your preferred contact times and your postal address. See the Privacy Notice for the full picture. The details you give when you register are required to create the account.
What happens when you apply to a trial using your account. We fill the application form with your sex, name, ZIP code and e-mail address, and with your phone number, preferred contact times and your address where you have added them and the form asks for them, so you do not have to type them again. You can change the details before you submit. Once you submit, the organization named on that trial page receives your application and is responsible for it from that point.
Keeping your account details accurate. Please keep your details up to date. Trial sites rely on them to contact you, and out-of-date details may mean you miss a trial you would have been suited to.
Keeping your password safe. Choose a password you do not use elsewhere and keep it to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your login. Tell us at once if you think someone else has access to your account.
Using the account properly. Please use the account only to apply to trials for yourself. Do not create an account for someone else, do not give false details, do not try to gain access to parts of the website that are not open to you, and do not use automated means to read or copy the website.
Deleting your account. You can delete it at any time in your account settings, or by writing to hello@powermedia-health.com. We then delete your account details. Applications you already submitted stay with the organization named on the trial page concerned, and we cannot delete them there. Write to us and we will tell you whom to contact about them, and we will pass your request on where we are able to. Where we are required to keep records, for example proof of a consent you gave, we keep those for three years and use them for nothing else.
When we delete it. If you have not logged in for two years, we delete the account. We e-mail you thirty days before we do, and logging in during that time keeps the account.
When we may close or suspend it. We may close or suspend an account that breaks these terms, that was created with false details, or that is used in a way that puts the website or other users at risk. Unless the law prevents us, we tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
What this website does and does not promise. We list trials and pass on your application. We do not decide whether you are eligible, we do not run the trials, and we cannot promise that a trial suited to you will be listed or that you will be accepted onto one. The information on a trial page comes from the organization responsible for that trial. We aim to keep the website available and correct, but we do not promise that it will be free of faults or available without interruption.
What we are responsible for. We are responsible for our own failures, including anything that goes wrong on our side after your application has been passed on. We are not responsible for decisions taken by the organization running a trial, for how it handles your application once it has received it, or for the conduct of a trial. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that cannot be limited by law, including responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law in the state where you live.
Changes. We will tell you by e-mail before we change these terms in a way that affects you. If you do not agree to the change, you can delete your account.
Which law applies and where disputes are heard. These terms are governed by the law of the State of Delaware, and any dispute about them will be heard by the state or federal courts in Delaware. This does not take away any protection that the law of the state where you live gives you and that cannot be waived.
